From Us to Bréançon (circular route)

Start from the car park at Us station (one of the sections of the Transilien J line, with Gisors as the terminus).

(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn right onto Rue de la Gare. Cross the railway line. At the roundabout, take Rue Jean Jaurès opposite.

(1) In front of the church, follow the^GR®1marked in red and white to the right. Go against the one-way traffic. Cross Rue de la Libération then Rue de la Chaussée Jules César. Ignore the street on the left.

(2) Pass Chemin du Stade and Rue des Fauvettes. Follow the road straight ahead through the fields. At the three-way junction, take the middle path. Cross the railway line.

(3) Cross the Viosne. After the left-hand bend, ignore the path on the right. At the next three-way junction, go straight on. In the woods, the path descends then climbs before continuing along the edge of a field.

(4) At the end of Chemin des Vignes, take the second right, heading due east. After 800 m, ignore the path on the right and turn left to follow the edge of the Bois des Mares. At the Fork in the road (elevation 92), keep to the right. Go straight on, crossing the road, and head for a road junction.

(5) Turn right and follow the D159 carefully for 500 m. At the next junction, leave the road by going straight on until you reach a T-junction.

(6) Turn left. Pass under the D915. First turn left then right to follow a stream on your right. Cross Rue de la Métairie. Pass the cemetery.

(7) Cross the avenue at the pedestrian crossing. Follow Rue du Goulet to the left (signposted as a no-entry road) to the small square. Take Rue Jean Baptiste Cartry opposite. Turn right into Rue du Docteur Meynard. At the roundabout, take the third exit on the left. Further on, Place Du Maréchal Leclerc on the right leads to Saint-Rémi Church.

(8) Retrace your steps and turn right. At the junction, turn right onto Rue Jean Mermoz and leave Rue du Heaulme on your left, taking Ruelle du Vieux Lavoir opposite. At the end, turn left. Ignore Rue Henri Dunant, then, at the three-way junction, keep left. Continue along the path at the end of Rue du Bœuf until you reach a crossroads.

(9) Turn right and, at the Fork in the road, go left. In the woods, leave a yellow-marked path on your left. Follow the red and white markings of^{the GR®1}and join the village road. Follow it to the right until you reach the D64.

(10) Head left, skirting the cemetery. Leave the C5 road.

(11) Leave the^GR®1by taking the Sente de la Fontaine on the left. Turn left then go straight on until you reach the road. Turn left. At the stop sign, follow the D64 to the right again.

(10) Continue very carefully along the D64. You will come across a path marked in yellow.

(12) Leave the tarmac road by taking the path on the left that winds through the fields. This turns right, then left, then right again. At the three-way junction, turn left.

(13) Pass the path on your left that leads to the D190. Then turn left. Take the D190 on the right, which goes through the tunnel. After the cemetery, take the road on the left.

(14) Turn left onto Le Chemin de la Ruelle in Gouy. Turn right onto Rue Pasteur (against the flow of traffic) and turn left in front of the church.

(15) Climb the steps and go to the right of the church. Turn right then left into Rue de Montgeroult. At the Fork in the road, follow Rue Chaudar to the right. Go to the left of the roundabout.

(16) At the crossroads, turn right into the fields. Keep left, cross the D190 and pass to the right of the Croix de Bazancourt.

(17) Take the path on the left. After the small copse of Bois du Loup, continue straight ahead off the path to rejoin and follow a path on the left. Stay on the edge of Bois de la Grande Brosse.

(18) The path eventually leads into the fields; ignore the paths branching off to the left until you reach the D24. Cross this road carefully and head right.

(19) Opposite number 25, take the second path on the left. Cross the Viosne. At the road, turn left twice to rejoin Rue de la Gare, which leads to the car park (S/E).

Access to Us station:
- By train: Transilien line J, terminating at Gisors (Paris Saint-Lazare station network). For timetables, visit the Transilien website.
- By car: park in the station car park. Please note that this car park has limited capacity; if it is full, look for a parking space in the adjacent streets.
