From Sommand to Praz-de-Lys

Access by car: in Mieussy, take the Col de la Ramaz road to Sommand, at the Les Roches hotel-restaurant. Take the road on the right and park in the car park.

The start and finish are located at the ski lift ticket office.

Markings: Orange markers along the edge of the trail. Pedestrian trail no. 4b-4a

(S/E) Join the footpath that runs near the Farquet ski lift. After a gentle climb, make a right-angle turn.

(1) Turn right and cross the hamlet of Ramaz. Continue along the pedestrian trail and head for the Pierres chairlift lower station.

(2) Continue climbing to the Col de la Ramaz.

(3) Turn right towards Praz de Lys. After a winding climb through the pine trees, you will arrive at the water reservoir.

(4) Go around it on the right and join a junction that crosses a cross-country ski trail.

(5) Leave the cross-country ski trail on your right and take the footpath on your left. Begin the descent towards Praz de Lys - Les Molliettes.

(6) Follow the trail marked with orange posts to reach the hamlet of Les Molliettes. Return via the same route and you will arrive back at the starting point (S/E).
