A magnificent hike! What’s more, the water is drinkable all the way up the slope. You have to work for it: the slope is very steep. I love it when you reach the lake on the plateau. Then, it’s simply breathtaking when you reach the Col du Moine: you can see the Pic du Midi d’Ossau and all the mountain passes of the Pyrenees. High up at an altitude of 2,170 metres, it’s the most beautiful hike I’ve ever done!
