Start from the car park near the Guirbaden multi-purpose hall, 17 Rue de Châtaigniers, in Mollkirch.
(S/E) Head towards the town centre, past the Mollkirch town hall, and continue straight on, Rue du Mollberg. Continue along Rue de Meyerhoff, then turn left into Rue de la Forêt. At the end of the road, follow the path down to the D704 (Route de la Fischhutte).
(1) Go right, near the Fischhutte, turn left onto the D204, and cross the bridge over the Magel.
(2) Immediately turn right onto Chemin de la Fischhutte, towards the fishing ponds, and follow the river Magel on your right until you find Rue Gothey on your right.
(3) Take this over the bridge over the Magel, then turn right onto Rue du Mont Saint-Odile to reach the Mairie and Grendelbruch church by the fountain.
(4) Turn left into Rue du Champ de Feu then, at the fork in the road, turn right into Rue du Hohbuhl and continue along this road as far as the National Necropolis.
(5) Continue along the road to the left, past a line of menhirs (Steinkreis), then the Grendelbruch ski club chalet (Schilmeck), and reach a hairpin bend. Leave the tarmac and follow the track opposite to the Col de Franzluhr.
(6) Continue straight ahead and, shortly after the pass, at the three-way junction, follow the track on the right as far as Kohlplatz.
(7) Follow the right-hand path down to Mullerplatz.
(8) Continue along the Route Forestière du Premier Jardin, signposted Yellow Cross, which runs alongside the Barembach valley. Continue along the Route Forestière de la Grande Basse as far as the village, and go straight on as far as the Barembach church.
(9) Turn left into Rue du Presbytère, then right into Rue du Douar, and continue as far as Place de la République. Turn left, cross the Bruche bridge and continue on the D392 until you reach Rue de la Roche on the left.
(10) Go straight on at number 24. Go up the Framont valley, without crossing it, as far as Les Minières.
(11) At the three-way junction, keep left onto the Route Forestière du Trou du Sable. Follow it to the Étoile multiple junction.
(12) Turn right to reach the Col du Donon, after continuing along the road for a few metres.
(13) Just after, turn left onto the D993, ignoring the Sentier du Donon on the right. Enter the forest and take the next forest track on the right, signposted Yellow Cross.
(14) At the three-way junction, keep right to reach the Col entre les deux Donons.
(15) Turn right onto the forest road marked Yellow Disc. Ignore a start on the left, then on the right, and reach the crossroads with the Centaur sculpture (hill 798).
(16) Turn left onto the track and then immediately left onto the forest track, marked with a Yellow Disc, and join the Route Forestière Basse de la Roche.
(17) Turn right onto the Route Forestière Basse de la Roche, then take the long descent to the Wisches town hall.
(18) Turn left into Rue des Écoles, cross the railway tracks, then the bridge over the Bruche and, at the roundabout, turn opposite onto the D804 towards Schwarzbach. Pass below the village chapel, then turn left into Rue des Prés. Continue along the Bruche cycle route to the town hall and church in Muhlbach-sur-Bruche.
(19) Opposite the church, turn right onto the D191. At the next crossroads, keep left, then right, Route des Romains. Follow the dual carriageway, pass under the bridge and continue to the right immediately after crossing the Bruche. Ignore the first level crossing on the left, then cross the second, and continue on the cycle lane on the right, before the main road.
(20) At the roundabout, turn right and follow the D704 to the Guirbaden multi-purpose hall car park in Mollkirch (S/E).
