Departure from the car park opposite the Romanesque church in Locmaria-Berrien.
(S/E) Leave the car park and go to the intersection with Rue des Vieux Chênes, turn right, go up the street and then at the intersection, continue straight ahead and leave the village to the north.
(1) At the crossroads at the top of the hill, turn left, then at the next crossroads, turn right and continue to the hamlet of Kerliou Vraz.
(2) Leave the main road on the right. Cross the hamlet keeping to your left and after the last farmhouse, take the forest path until you reach a small road indicating access to the Bruguec Vihan farm on IGN.
(3) Cross the small road and continue along the forest track opposite. Enter the Huelgoat National Forest. At the junction with another track, turn right and descend until you reach the junction with the tourist route marked "Promenade du canal supérieur" (Upper Canal Walk).
(4) Leave the walking route on your left and continue downhill opposite until you reach the junction with other paths.
(5) Turn left 90° and continue downhill. Further on, after a sharp right-hand bend, the path continues with a viewpoint below overlooking the site of the old silver mine.
(6) Once at the bottom, at the site of the old mine, turn right and follow the access road to the site, cross the Rivière d'Argent and continue to the main road.
(7) Cross the main road with caution and continue along the small road opposite. Go straight up to a crossroads. Turn left and continue uphill. Further on, ignore a marked trail on the left and continue along the small road on the right. Pass the entrance to Park ar Meen on your right, leave the national forest and pass the entrances to Restidiou Braz and Restidiou Bihan on your left.
(8) After Restidiou Bihan, leave the small road and take the forest path on the right. Enter the Huelgoat National Forest again. Follow this forest path, ignoring all the small paths or trails that cross it, for several kilometres until you reach the D769.
(9) Cross the D769 with caution, climb the embankment using the steps created by hikers and climb the steep slope following a path created by loggers until you reach a pretty trail 150 m higher up. Turn left to join another wide forest track.
(10) At the junction with this forest track, turn right and continue to the hamlet of TY ar Gall.
(11) Take the D114 on the right until the next bend. At Calvaire de Saint-Ambroise, leave the main road and continue straight on towards Pont ar Gorret.
(12) Just before the bridge, turn right onto the "greenway" and follow it.
(13) Cross the small bridge at the confluence of the Aulne and Rivière d'Argent rivers (already crossed before point (7). and continue to the next intersection.
(14) Leave the "greenway" on the right, join the D769, cross it carefully and take the hill opposite. At the next intersection with a small road, turn right, continue uphill, enter the village of Locmaria-Berrien from above and reach the church car park (S/E).
