An easy, pleasant and varied circular walk through the vineyards and surroundings of Cruet, along the foothills of the Bauges.
La Chapelle Maillée

The Savoyard circular from Montmélian
It is a very interesting and varied hike, offering a multitude of beautiful views of the Chambéry valley, the peaks of the Bauges, some of the peaks of the Chartreuse and Belledonne mountains, and the Tarentaise valley. This hike should be avoided in wet weather or just after a wet period.
Montmélian to Cruet circular loop
This circular route through the vineyards guarantees a sunny route. It also offers a panoramic view of the Belledonne Massif.
Depending on the time of year, you may see work being done in the vineyards.

The Montmayeur towers
This beautiful medium-altitude hike allows you to discover the ruins of Montmayeur Castle, located on the Montraillant ridge. During the ascent, you can see the Belledonne mountain range, the Mont Blanc massif and Montmélian with its valley.

Pointe de la Galoppaz from the Lindar roundabout
A classic destination in the Bauges Regional Nature Park, the Pointe de la Galoppaz offers a sweeping panorama of the Bauges and all the mountain ranges of the Northern Alps. This spot is very popular with gliders, paragliders and birds of prey.
The Pic de la Sauge circular from Arvey
This hike is less popular than the nearby Pointe de la Galoppaz, an iconic peak in the Chambéry region.
However, it is just as interesting thanks to the variety of landscapes it crosses (forests, meadows, groves, rocks, etc.) and the superb panorama of the surrounding mountains (Mont Blanc, Belledonne, Beaufortain, Bauges, Chartreuse), the Chambéry cluse and Lake Thuile.
