Car park: Coming from Curienne or Challes-les-Eaux, leave the D11 towards La Thuile, shortly after the hamlet of Montoux, taking a small road on the right. The car park is located 600 m on the left after the crossroads.
(S/E) From the car park (a few spaces), follow the small farm track, cross the Nécuidet stream and continue across the meadow to reach a track.
(1) Turn right and head towards the hamlet of Morion, continue along the road to cross it and reach an intersection with a path.
(2) Go up a steep path on the right and join the road, following it to the right towards the village of La Thuile.
(3) Before entering the village, take a path on the right, join a road, climb up towards the hamlet of Le Mont, cross it to reach an intersection.
(4) Take a stony path on the left which descends to the hamlet of Lac. In the hamlet, rejoin the road and follow it to the left towards the end of the lake.
(5) Before a big bend, leave the road and take a path on the right that runs along the lake shore.
(6) Return to the road in the village, turn right down the D11a, pass the cemetery, and cross the village, leaving the roads on your right.
(7) At the exit, leave the road and take a path that branches off to the left. Continue along the path for a long time until you reach an intersection with a metal cross.
(8) Turn left onto the track to rejoin the junction from the outward journey.
(1) Turn right towards the car park (S/E).
