The drystone shelters trail in Couiza
Departure from Couiza and its 16th-century Château des Ducs de Joyeuse. You will wind your way along paths lined with dry stone walls and several drystone shelters, passing through the villages of Cassaignes and Coustoussa with its ruined castle.
This trail takes you to the heights of Montaut and Les Planèses, where you can admire the peaks of Pic de Bugarach, Brau and the Pyrenees.
There are alternative routes and you can start from Cassaignes or Coustoussa.
Route of drystone shelters in Montazels
This hike will take you along a new route updated by a village association that is reviving forgotten paths that once allowed villagers to reach the vineyards and graze their flocks of sheep. You will discover drystone shelters that were used to shelter from the wind and bad weather and, in the case of the larger ones, to store equipment for working in the fields.

The Pech Cardou circular tour from Rennes-les-Bains
A circular route from Rennes-les-Bains up to Pech Cardou. Can be done in the suggested direction or the opposite, starting from Rennes-les-Bains or Serres.Please note: there is no IGN route map for the Pech Cardou area. Follow the OSM base map or, better still, the suggested GPX track, which is essential. Allow 5 hours for the walk. A concrete marker marks the route of the Méridienne Vert at the foot of the listed bridge at Serres sur Le Rialsesse.Yellow markings are fairly common. Various directional posts which do not necessarily relate to the proposed hike.
The Belvédère du Diable and the Chalet de Carach from Quillan
A challenging hike if you choose the circular Belvédère du Diable with its high, airy viewpoint! The route takes you through forests, along tracks and paths, with the amazing Chalet de Carach, the villages of Belvianes and Cavirac to discover, and a return trip along the Aude river: magnificent!

Le Pech du Bugarach from Bugarach
This is a relatively short, intense loop route at altitude, climbing Pech du Bugarach from the village via La Fenêtre.
Circular of Saint-Polycarpe via Villar-Saint-Anselme
This amazing circular takes you through Mediterranean heath and the Blanquette de Limoux vineyards.
Starting from the village of Saint-Polycarpe with the remains of its 8th-century Benedictine abbey, the route crosses the communal forest and the village of Villar-Saint-Anselme.
At the end of the route, there is an arboretum sponsored by Yves Duteil.
