Route from Le Coudray to Languédias

There are quite a few crosses and granite buildings along this route , which takes you along small roads, sunken lanes and paths through the woods. No particular difficulty.

Description of the walk

Car park at the town hall at the Résidence des Granits.

(S/E) From the car park, take the A-road to the right, then turn right onto Rue de l’Avenir for 70 m and take the dirt track on the left. At thefirst junction, follow the track to the left, then immediately afterwards to the right.

(1) Cross the hamlet of Croix Chemin via the small road, then continue towards Carré.

(2) On leaving the village, turn left onto the grassy track leading to the hamlet of Bourrien.

(3) At the road, turn left and, at the granite cross, take the grassy path on the right to go round the village. Turn left onto the road and then, before Le Pont Noyer, turn right to continue along the dirt track to a junction.

(4) At the junction, turn left then immediately right and then take a path along the edge of the woods. There are no further signposts here. Follow the edge of the woods until you come to a grassy path on the right and a dirt track that takes you back towards the hamlet of Le Carré.

(5) Enter this hamlet (old granite houses), then in the centre turn left towards Les Devants. Take the dirt track on the left then continue straight on along a path through the woods, leaving two tracks on your left and right.

(6) Follow the dirt track to the right, passing a path on the right, then at the next junction, turn right, then left and left again towards the hamlet of Couaclé (ignore the signs for the Le Grand Tour route).

(7) In the hamlet, follow the D89 to the left for 50 m and turn right onto a track; at the junction, turn right onto a dirt track which leads to a crossroads.

(8) First turn right then left to cross the village of La Ville Neuve (old granite houses).

(9) At the Écotay building, turn left and then right after 50 m onto the dirt track, staying on it until you reach the D61.

(10) Follow it on the left until you reach Champ Benoît; at the junction, continue straight on, then just after the house by the roadside, take the path on the right. At the end of the path, turn right onto the road.

(11) Leave the road and turn right onto the dirt track to reach the Centre d’Accueil l’Aronde.

(12) Head up to the right along the street leading to the church, walk past it and continue towards the town hall to reach the car park at the Résidence des Granits (S/E).
