Circular route between Jugon and Tournemine along the Arguenon.

Car park 200 m after the D776 bridge coming from Jugon-les-Lacs, just behind the water treatment plant.

(S/E) Head in the opposite direction to the car park entrance, following the path to the banks of the Arguenon. Turn north and follow the path along the river on your left. Continue until you reach a bridge.

(1) Do not cross the bridge, but continue along the path beside the Arguenon. After about 3.5 km, you will reach a road.

(2) Follow the road to the left and take the Pont de Tournemine bridge to reach the opposite bank.

(3) On the other side, turn left and rejoin the path along the Arguenon. Follow the river to the Ruisseau de l'Étang du Guillier.

(4) Cross it and continue along the path, keeping the river on your left, until you reach a road near a bridge (seen on the way there on the opposite bank).

(5) First turn left then right to rejoin the path (do not take the bridge), which continues to the right, ignoring the bridge. After about 3.5 km, you will reach a footbridge on the edge of the N176.

(6) Take the footbridge to cross the Arguenon again. On the other side, follow a small road on the left and you will soon reach the car park (S/E).

Between points (1) and (2), some sections are difficult. Good shoes and walking sticks are necessary for safety.
