Access: from Vagney, take the D34 towards Basse-sur-le-Rupt. Continue to Planois (Basse-sur-le-Rupt) (5 km). From La Bresse, head towards Vagney, pass the Col de la Croix des Moinats and descend to Planois (9 km). Park in the car park at the war memorial opposite a restaurant between the town hall and the church.
Note: At the start of the route, the GPS track often does not correspond to the map. Follow the clear and precise signposts.
(S/E) From the car park, cross the road and, below the restaurant, take the C5 towards La Burotte. Cross the bridge over the Basse-sur-le-Rupt stream. 50m further on, take the wide path on the left (marked with a yellow ring). At the calvary, turn right onto the tarmac road until you reach a hundred-year-old lime tree.
Take the small path on the left that climbs steeply (red triangle). Pass La Roche du Petu and reach the starting point of the Circuit des Points de Vue at Les Auberts .
(1) Les Auberts (circular information sign). Estimated duration of the circuit: 2 hours. From here, follow the green ring markings for the entire circuit. There are too many paths and trails to list and locate them all.
Go up to the left (north-east) and pass the following places in succession: Sous les Isches, la Roche des Isches, les Isches, above Leudie, Tirosgoutte (180° panorama of the Moselotte valley and orientation table). Continue to the place called Les Ballons.
(2) Les Ballons (end of the route, facing south). View of the Ballon de Servance and the Vosges mountain range. Turn right at 180° to the west onto the path that descends slightly to a crossroads, where the path changes. Turn left and continue to the Col de la Burotte.
(3) Col de la Burotte, look for the same circular sign as at Les Auberts. Continue on the Anneau Vert trail and pass the following places: L'Orée du Bois, La Tête du Saulx, Sous Leudie, then return to Les Auberts, the starting point of the "Circuit des Points de vue".
(1) Return to the car park by retracing your steps (S/E).
