Starting point: the town hall.
(S/E) Take Rue de Lorry. After the bridge, turn left to reach the old railway line. Follow it to the left until you reach the junction with the Botanical Trail on the right.
(1) Follow this path for 2 km until you reach the end of the trail.
(2) Take Route de Guerre on the left, until you reach the old railway line. Cross it. Continue along Route de Guerre, heading down towards the Ruisseau de Montvaux (near the tennis courts).
(3) Just after the information sign, take the path on the right and follow the stream.
(4) When you reach a junction, near the old washhouse at Ferme Saint-Vincent, take the path on the right, go under the bridge, continue uphill for 200 metres, then turn onto the path on the left which climbs gently along a terrace.
(5) When you reach a small valley, at the junction of several paths, continue to the right to reach the top of the hill. Then carry on through the woods, occasionally following the stream, until you reach a footbridge at the entrance to the village of Amanvillers.
(6) Cross the footbridge, carefully cross the RD643, climb a few steps and take the old railway line to the left for 400 metres. Turn right onto a stony track, then follow the road to the left leading to the Ferme de Montigny la Grange. Walk along the first section of the enclosure.
(7) Turn left onto a field track and follow it for 3 km.
(8) After walking alongside a stream, at the junction, head towards Vernéville on the right and join the D51.
(9) Follow it to the left for a few metres, then turn left onto the path that runs alongside the Verneville waste collection centre until you reach the junction with the Route de Chantereine.
(10) Take this road to the left, passing the Ferme-auberge de Chantereine. Continue along the road for 2 km. On your right, note the view of the Ferme de la Folie.
(11) Take the road on the left and walk alongside the equestrian facilities at the Ferme de Leipzig. After 500 metres, turn right onto the Chemin de la Haie des Échevins, then slightly left onto the Route de Guerre until you reach the gate of the Mont Saint-Germain archaeological site.
(12) Go through the gate and cross the lawn to the right.
(13) Continue to the left, past the row of pine trees, onto the Chemin de la Taye, which leads down towards the village. Cross Rue de Verdun.
(14) Walk down the lane towards the wash house on the Ruisseau de Montvaux. Continue to the right after the sports hall car park onto the Chemin des Fourrières. At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue de Lorry to return to the town hall (S/E).
