Leave your vehicle in the car park at the starting point near the Canal, at a place called Vive-Eve. The route you will be taking is marked in yellow in both directions and complies with FFRP standards.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards the wooden footbridge. Cross it and immediately turn left, following the towpath of the Nantes-Brest Canal.
(1) When you reach the Tindière lock, cross it and join the towpath on the left. Continue along the canal for about 650 metres.
(2) Then take the path through the woods on your right. Follow it uphill towards the village of Le Plessis Pas-Brunet. At the end of the path, at the entrance to the village, turn right, then left at the three-way junction. Continue straight ahead for about 400 metres. When you reach the bend, follow it by turning right and continue for about 50 metres.
(3) At the cross, take the path on the right. At the end of the path, turn right and continue straight ahead.
(4) When you reach the road, continue straight ahead along the path in front of you. Continue for about 500 metres. When you reach the canal, take the path on your right to go up the towpath.
(5) Once you reach the towpath, take it to the left until you reach the next bridge. Cross the bridge to the right and return to the starting point (S/E) via the towpath on the opposite side.
