Description of the walk

Departure from Languidic, Dézinio Arboretum. Access via the D724, towards Dézinio at Lann Menhir, take the path on the left before Dézinio: park on the verge along the path, taking care not to obstruct service vehicles.

(S/E) Go down the farm track and take the second path on the left to cross the Dézinio woods. Continue straight ahead, then slightly to the right into the lane. At the power line, turn right, then left and continue into the woods. At the end, turn left to join a road.

(1) Turn right and continue along the road, ignoring the track on the left. This area was once home to megaliths. You will arrive at Lann-Menhir, where the old Morbihan railway line used to run.

(2) Take the path on the right before Kerbigodo and you will come to a T-junction.

(3) Turn left towards the village of Saint-Nicolas. Before you reach the village, don't miss the fountain on your left.

(4) With the fountain behind you, turn left to see the chapel façade, the memorial stone and the sign for the former Lann-Menhir train stop.

(5) Turn around and leave Saint-Nicolas, retracing your steps to the intersection after the fountain.

(3) Continue straight ahead between the fields. Turn left at the entrance to the woods, then right after the water tower.

(6) Turn left immediately at the edge of the field and follow the path that goes right, then left. In the woods, follow the path to the right, then straight ahead. At the edge of the woods, turn right before the farm track and continue straight ahead. At the end, turn left, then right towards Dézinio:take a look at the old farms in the hamlet.

(7) At the road, turn right, then right again at the exit of the hamlet. Turn left before the house and left again into the woods. Stay on the marked path until you reach a fork.

(8)Turn left then right to go around the pumping station, passing close to the wash house. Cross the arboretum and, at the crossroads, continue right on the path along the roadside to return to the car park (S/E).
