Park in the car park at the Gimond dam.
(S/E) Facing the car park, head towards Pomeys on theGRP® Monts et Côteaux du Lyonnais, marked in yellow and red. Cross a footbridge and turn right to walk along the left bank of the dam. Please note: there is a barrier; go behind it, continue straight ahead and you will reach the dyke.
(1) Turn left and continue along theGRP® to cross the Bois de Pomeys and reach an intersection at the houses in La Rully.
(2) Leave theGRP® here by turning right and you will soon reach the hamlet of Crêt. Turn right, then immediately left before the hamlet of Gas, following the sign for Grézieu-le-Marché. Continue to reach the Croix de l'Orme.
(3) Turn right, then carefully cross the road and take the path on the left. Continue through the forest to reach Moulin Berry. Cross the Ruisseau de la Gimond and continue along the road until you reach a crossroads.
(4) Take the path on the right, follow the right bank of the Gimond stream, then turn off to reach the Cumina district. Continue along Rue de Pommeys, then turn left onto Rue des Colombes to reach the church of Grézieu-le-Marché.
(5) Go around the church, turn right onto Rue de la Bascule, then take the next left onto Route de Sainte-Foy-l'Argentière. Continue for several hundred metres until you reach a Y-junction.
(6) Turn left onto Chemin de Layat, reaching its terminus at Layat and Ferme de Joséphine. Pass it and continue through Bois de la Dame to reach the hamlet of Clémençon.
(7) Turn right onto Route du Sorlin, turn right again at the houses and start climbing between woods and clearings to reach the hamlet of Les Brosses.
(8) Continue along the path on the right, then turn left at the fork. Carefully cross the road and take Chemin du Plat Maillart opposite. You will then reach the junction with the D34.
(9) Cross it carefully, take the path opposite and then turn right, then left. Go through the barrier, then turn left to walk along the right bank of the dam to easily return to the car park (S/E).
