In the Monts du Lyonnais from Saint-Symphorien-Sur-Coise

This route takes you to Samson’s Menhir and the Chapel of La Salette. It is a very pleasant walk as it follows the rivers Coise and Couzon for a while, as well as the Orzon stream, and offers beautiful views of the Monts du Lyonnais.

Description rarely used except to try to identify a picnic spot...without success! We mainly use the GPX file for navigation; a lovely walk with no difficulty whatsoever, well done to whoever discovered it!

A very pleasant, varied route, accessible by public transport with the 2Ex.
The GPS route was very useful as the description was unclear at certain junctions and some paths were difficult to see.
A beautiful hike.

A lovely spring walk in the area around Lyon.
There are gentle inclines as you make your way along the route, leading to Samson’s Rock and the chapel, where a magnificent view makes the climb well worth it.
We didn’t see many people during the week.
