Hollow ways and villages in Plouha

(S/E) Go down the stairs in the right-hand corner of the car park (with your back to the village hall), cross the playground and turn left to walk along the tennis courts on Rue Amiral Ronarc'h. At the crossroads, take Rue Anatole Le Braz almost opposite, then at a wooden house, turn right onto Rue Ropartz, which continues along a path that joins the Plouha bypass. Cross carefully and follow the road to the left until you reach the Point Vert shop.

(1) Enter the Grand Étang industrial estate, then turn left towards "Abeille Paysage" and "Les Ambulances" and go around the building of the "Vieux Gréments, Vieux Outils" association, where there is a small chain that you can cross.

(2) Take the first sunken lane opposite, which leads to the hamlet of Kerrohan on the route.

(3) At the first houses, just after a large grassy area, turn right into another sunken lane. Cross a stream, walk along a grassy area beside a brook, and at the end of the embankment, turn right at a right angle into a^third sunken lane. Leave a small road on your left and continue along a^fourth sunken lane which climbs up a grassy path to the left and becomes a farm track.

(4) Continue to the right along this track, which becomes a small road and passes under the high-voltage power line. At Bon Repos, turn right and continue straight ahead. Pass Méridoul and arrive at a crossroads on the D84.

(5) Continue straight ahead towards "Lizandré, le Goasmeur". After the gardens of Méridoul (perennial producers), take a small road on the right and arrive at the Stivell farm, in a right-hand bend.

(6) Continue straight ahead along a sunken lane, which may be wet. Join a road at Vieux Lizandré and continue, first turning right then left to rejoin the road you left earlier. Turn left, continue left on the D84 and pass under the high-voltage power line again. At Kergroas, at the two stone crosses, turn right towards Kerrohan to rejoin the circular junction.

(3) Continue straight ahead.

(2) Turn left and continue to the Magasin Point Vert.

(1) Take the small road on the left which initially runs alongside the Plouha bypass before turning away from it.

(7) Turn right at the stop sign and, at the Plouha sign, take the path on the left, cross Rue de Pen Ker and continue to the sports hall. Turn right to join the Plouha bypass, cross at the pedestrian crossing and follow the road on the left for about 30 metres.
Turn right towards the tennis club. Follow a small path that leads to the playground and the stairs back to the car park (S/E).

• Plouha: a small town with a good selection of shops near the start of the route. On Wednesdays, there is a lovely market, but this can lead to congestion in the car park, especially in summer.
• Take care when crossing the Plouha bypass, especially on the way there, as there is no protected crossing.
• Local "Vieux Métiers, Vieux Outils" (Old Crafts, Old Tools) museum. It is closed off by a small low chain that does not prevent pedestrians from passing.
• Lizandré Castle is private property and access is prohibited.
