Circular via Le Bugue and Audrix

Departure from the motorhome area, Allée de la Vézère.

(S/E) Join Avenue de la Libération and turn right to cross the bridge over the Vézère, then turn left at the roundabout. Continue to the crossroads.

(1) Turn left before crossing the bridge over La Douche to reach the quays. Continue to the Périgord Noir Aquarium car park.

(2) Turn right towards Parc du Bournat and continue along Allée Paul Jean-Souriau until you reach the bridge.

(3) Turn left onto Rue du Port (before the bridge) and continue until you reach Rue de la Faure Basse.

(4) Turn right and continue to the stop sign.

(5) Continue straight ahead and go to the end of the street.

(6) Turn left onto Rue des Eygarots and you will soon reach a fork in the road.

(7) Turn right, pass in front of the large building and the foie gras factory, and you will reach a crossroads.

(8) Continue to the right and join Route de Campagne on the right to cross the bridge.

(9) Take the D703 on the right towards Coux/Belvès. After the hill, pass the houses and arrive at a fork with Route de Bigaroque.

(10) Continue right on this road to Les Valades and Chemin de Ladière.

(11) Take this road and, at the bottom, keep left and go up to Route du Château de Labatut.

(12) Continue left on the road and you will soon reach a crossroads.

(13) Turn right onto Route de Labatut, towards Audrix, and continue to the end of the street.

(14) Turn left onto Route de Proumeyssac and continue to the third crossroads.

(15) Turn left onto Route de Saint-Chamassy, pass the church, then turn right towards Saint-Chamassy. Continue to the stop sign.

(16) Take the C1 on the right towards Saint-Chamassy.

(17) At the stop sign, turn left onto Route de Falgueyrat towards Le Bugue. Continue on this road until you reach the give way sign.

(18) Continue left onto Route du Buisson (D51) until you reach Route du Pont de Ferrand.

(19) Turn right and continue to the stop sign.

(20) Turn left and, after the bridge over the Vézère, you will come to a Cédez-le-passage.

(21) Turn right onto the D31 towards Le Bugue. Follow the road to the D703.

(22) Turn right, still towards Le Bugue. At the stop sign, continue right towards the town centre and reach the crossroads from the outward journey.

(1) Continue straight ahead and reach the motorhome area, Allée de la Vézère, by following the route in reverse (S/E).

(1) Picnic tables on the quays / public toilets next to the town hall (at the roundabout) / bike charging stations on the town hall square (green and grey box) / bike repair shop at 35 Rue de Paris (Jean Laurent Peyrefiche).

(21) At the bridge on the left, visit the village of Limeuil, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, as well as its Panoramic Gardens.
