Access via Revel, Lac de Saint Ferréol, l'Ermitage (opposite the dam, upstream from the lake). Park in the car park.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, facing the lake, take the footbridge on the left to cross the Laudot and immediately turn left towards a small lock. Cross it, join the road, turn right and cross the bridge. Continue towards the Hermitage.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin de la Gariotte and follow the road to the end. Then continue along the track, walk along a field and reach its end, at the crossroads with the return route.
(2) Continue straight ahead until you reach the Peyrebazal holiday centre.
(3) Take the road on the left until you reach a fork in the road.
(4) Turn left onto the D90.
(5) Turn right towards Lagarde. Drive through the village and continue to the next junction.
(6) Turn left onto the D803 towards Les Cammazes until you reach the next junction.
(7) Turn left onto the C5 towards Les Cammazes until the next junction.
(8) Follow theGR®7by turning right and then immediately left onto the track until you reach a road in a residential area. Continue along Chemin de la Plaine des Faurès until you reach the Carcassonne road.
(9) Turn left onto the D629, enter the village of En Teisseyre and continue straight on until you reach the Voûte de Vauban.
(10) After crossing it, turn right immediately and follow Chemin de la Rigole until you reach the fork.
(11) Continue on the road to the left or Chemin d'En Bosc until you reach the junction with Route du Barrage.
(12) Continue straight ahead for a few dozen metres, then take the path on the left to the Gravette Dam on Lake Cammazes.
(13) From the dam, turn around and take the road on the right that descends to the downstream side of the dam.
(14) Continue along the track on the left and follow the penstock to the fork.
(15) Take the path that climbs to the left until you reach the Route de Durfort.
(16) Cross the road and continue along the track opposite until you reach the crossroads.
(17) Continue straight ahead. Stay on the main track until you reach the top and come to a crossroads with a water tank.
(18) Continue straight ahead for a few dozen metres, then take the path on the right that descends, then left in a westerly direction to join the Route de Carcassonne (elevation 541).
(19) Follow it to the left. At the next junction, take the road on the right (D90) towards Les Brunels, then the track on the far right just after the small bridge.
(20) At the three-way junction, take the path on the left that climbs up to the junction on the way there.
(2) Continue to the right and descend to the road and car park (S/E).
