Park in the car park of the Lycée Professionnel des Métiers de l'Ameublement (vocational school for furniture making) on Rue Jean Rostand in Revel.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, walk up Rue Jean Rostand for about 30 metres and turn left onto Chemin des Caussinières. Then, at the first intersection, turn right and walk up the road to the T-junction. Turn left onto Chemin de Sahut. Follow it straight ahead. The tarmac road becomes a path and leads to the La Pergue residence. Continue straight ahead, with the house on your right.
(1) 50 metres after the house, take the path on the right (leaving Chemin de Bel-Air orGR® 653 on your left). Stay on the main path and begin the climb towards the lake. At the top, the path is blocked by three large granite boulders. Continue straight ahead on Rue Général Marbot.
At the next intersection, turn left and continue straight ahead.
(2) At the D629 or Avenue de la Plage, turn left. Cross at the old Hôtel de la Plage and take the path under the pine trees. Join the Tour du Lac trail and follow it to the left.
(3) Cross the Ruisseau du Laudot stream and continue along the lake to the dam.
(4) Do not go onto the dyke but continue straight ahead. Immediately afterwards, below the dyke, take the leftmost lane and follow it to the junction with the D79J. Cross the road and continue on the path opposite.
(5) At the next intersection, do not cross the Laudot but turn right and follow it to the waterfall. Walk past it and you will arrive at the dam. Take the path on the left that goes uphill and, just after the hairpin bend, find a small path on your left that descends slightly and begins with a few steps. Follow it and cross the Laudot river on large granite slabs with a view of several waterfalls. Then turn right.
(6) 20 metres further on, take the path on the left and continue on your left at the next intersection. Follow it to the picnic tables.
(7) Turn left and take the road on the right (Chemin de Calès) which climbs up to the T-junction.
(8) Turn left, still on Chemin de Calès. Follow this small road towards "Centre Équestre Lapouticario" until you reach the semi-underground water tank protected by a wire fence. Walk past it.
(9) At the corner of the fence, take the road on the right (Chemin de Calcel) which descends to Revel. Be careful, it is slippery in wet weather. When this road becomes tarmac, continue straight ahead between the houses until you reach the T-junction.
(10) Turn right onto Chemin des Vignes and continue straight ahead. Pass Route de Vaudreuilhe on your left, then Chemin de la Dreuilhette on your right. Continue straight ahead until you reach the Rigole bridge.
(11) Turn right after the bridge and follow the Rigole. At the stone bridge, continue straight ahead on Chemin des Deux Ponts. Cross the D629 (Route de Saint-Ferréol). Continue along the Rigole until you reach the wooden bridge, which you should cross. Immediately after the bridge, turn left, then right after the children's swing. Walk along the rugby stadium and head for the school car park (S/E).
