The walk starts from the car park at the Pivaut ice house, 6 km west of Mazaugues on the Route de la Sainte-Baume.
(S/E) Leave the car park and follow the road to the left with care for about a hundred metres.
(1) Cross the road carefully to join the track leading off the road towards the south: marked with yellow PR® signs. Follow the PR® for 1,500 metres.
(2) Leave the return path on your left and continue straight ahead.
(3) Carry on straight ahead again and do the same at the next junction. You’ll reach a four-way junction.
(4) Turn left to stay on the PR®. You’ll reach a fork in the path at the Prairie de la Salomone.
(5) Keep left and follow the path as it bends to the right and heads east.
(6) Pass a path on your left which could serve as a shortcut and keep to the right. Further on, pass a path on your right and reach another fork.
(7) Head northwards, taking the path that climbs to the left. You’ll come to the junction with the shortcut; continue to the right until you reach a three-way junction about 150 m further on.
(8) Follow the track to the left.
(9) Keep going straight on and rejoin the track you took on the way there.
(2) Turn right and, following the route in reverse to the one taken on the way there, head northwards to return to the road and the car park (S/E).
