Park in the square in front of Marmagne church.
Throughout the route, follow the signs marked MAR1.
(S/E) From the church square, take the road downhill towards La Troche.
Walk along the cemetery wall, where you will see a replica of a Gallo-Roman stele. Continue on, cross the bridge over the Mesvrin, afirst-class river, and continue straight ahead to reach the Troche crossroads.
(1) Turn right onto the dirt track, cross the farmyard of La Tour de Bourdeau, continue straight ahead and you will reach a place called "Bourdeau".
(2) Come out onto the road, take the pavement opposite and turn left to quickly reach the village of Saint-Symphorien-de-Marmagne.
(3) At the town hall and church on your right, turn left onto a small road that becomes a dirt track. Walk along the edge of the woods and enjoy the unobstructed view of the Mesvrin valley. Then head towards the entrance to the woods.
(4) Continue into the woods and, after a long climb, you will reach the highest point at a place called "la Brosse".
(5) After a flat section, begin a short descent to reach a tarmac road.
(6) Continue and immediately turn left, walking alongside a fenced property where the two Marnay ponds are located. Continue down a short, steep descent. At the bottom, cross a small stream and turn right onto the wide path. Then pass between the two dilapidated farm buildings of the "Bois des Vignes".
(7) Walk along a hedge, then cross a meadow, veering slightly to the left. Descend through the wooded area, then continue along the path, which becomes grassy and offers a beautiful view of Marmagne and the Mesvrin valley.
(8) At the bottom, turn left towards Mesvrin, cross the footbridge over the river, walk along the stadium and take the road near the railway line. Cross it to reach the car park at Marmagne church square (S/E).
