Park in the car park at By Harbour.
(S/E) Continue along the river and turn left before the picnic area.
(1) Join the Route de la Reille (D2) and follow it to the right.
(2) Take the white track on the right down to the river. Turn left, following the river, then left again to head back towards the road and cross it.
(3) Turn right at the junction, then left and right again at the next one. At the next two forks, keep right, then take the left-hand bend to join a track.
(4) Follow it to the left until you reach the D3.
(5) Cross the road, then head left before turning right twice.
(6) Just after the bridge, take the path on the left.
(7) Cross the D3 again; then, 300 metres on, you can turn left, walking alongside the buildings to visit the Tour de By, which is open to the public, or continue to the right, walking alongside the château grounds, then turn right before the lake.
(8) Follow the road on the left for about two hundred metres, carefully walking along the grassy verge of the D2 towards the harbour (S/E).
