A lovely route through villages, forests and the plains, with sunshine to boot. However, after point 5, when crossing the D922, it is no longer possible to reach point 6; a decree dated November 2024 strictly prohibits using this GR route due to landslides. We therefore decided to head down the D922 towards Meulan (on the left is safer) until the junction for Tessancourt-sur-Aubette, where we reached point 7 to continue the walk.
Perhaps a good 2 km extra, with traffic. We nevertheless enjoyed the scenery.

A really lovely route to do with a group. The route description matches the actual route, and we had no trouble at all completing this hike.
A steep climb at the start, but after that it’s all easy.
Plenty of local heritage, beautiful views – you won’t be bored for a single second.
We did the walk just as the plums and mirabelle plums were ripening, and we treated ourselves to them several times.
We’ll definitely be back – in the spring for the cherries and this autumn for the walnuts.
Thank you.

A fairly hilly walk that begins with a long flight of steps.
Historic churches and wash houses, and beautiful scenery despite the distant mist.
The stretch along the banks of the Seine is short but pleasant.
