Parking: Place des Randonneurs between Impasse Clos Maire and Allée de Steinhausen.
(S) Turn left onto Rue Joanny Odet and immediately right to join Rue de la Poste. Continue right on this street until the next intersection.
(1) Turn left onto Rue Matou, which curves further to the right. After 100 metres, cross the small bridge over the Putaret on the left, then follow Montée de l'Eglise on the left. Ignore the next two streets on the left and continue straight ahead up Rue Saint-Barthélémy until you reach the church of the same name.
(2) From the church, take Chemin de Baleyzieu, which runs alongside it on the left and continues straight ahead for about one kilometre until you reach the last houses. It continues as a dirt track for another kilometre until you reach a T-junction.
(3) Turn right to go back up towards the RD 150 and Flassieux. Cross this departmental road with caution, then go back up opposite at Plan Gailland (next crossroads).
(4) From Plan Gailland, take the path on the right, which is paved at first and then dirt, leading west to Bois du Recours. The descent to Chaponnay is via a shaded, often damp path.
(5) After reaching the main road, follow it to the left for 50 metres, then turn right onto Chemin des Sables, which climbs towards the Church of Saint-Barthélemy.
(2) Turn left and return to Place des Randonneurs via the same route as at the start.
