Park in the car park on the edge of the D49, Route du Pouldu.
(S/E) Opposite the car park, cross the road carefully, enter the forest, follow the bridle path and cross the Ligne du Grand Buis. Continue straight ahead and, at the crossroads with a straight forest track, turn right (red and white markings) for about 250 m.
(1) Continue straight ahead on a fairly steep downhill path, cross the Ruisseau de la Fontaine au Loup stream, and take the road on the right to the Fontaine aux Loups fountain.
(From point (1), you can avoid the steep descent by following the red and white markings, which bypass the difficulty with a large loop. This alternative is recommended in rainy weather when crossing the stream may be difficult).
(2) Take the small path on the left that winds its way through the forest until it comes out onto a forest road. Follow this road to the right, then turn left at the crossroads.
(3) At a wooden marker, descend into the forest (red and white markings) and follow the path to the stone bridge.
(4) After crossing the bridge, turn right onto the small path that runs along the left bank of the stream, then go up to a crossroads (bench).
(5) Descend the path to the right and follow the right bank of the Laïta for about 1 km (especially visible from the halfway point). Continue to the Château de Carnoët.
(6) At Port du Passage, go up the road and quickly turn off onto the track that goes up to the left towards Route de Saint-Maurice.
(7) At the junction with a forest road, continue straight ahead and, at the bottom of the slope, take the small path on the left. Follow it, making sure to stay on the left bank of the stream. Follow the stream for a while, then climb up to the road. Take this road to the right until you reach the first fork.
(8) Descend to the right to the Étang des Tailleurs, a very pleasant spot, ideal for a picnic and/or a nap, before heading back.
(9) Cross the footbridge and follow the track uphill. At the junction with a lane, take it to the left, then quickly take a small path to the right. At another junction, this time turn right, then quickly take a small path to the left which leads back to the car park (S/E).
