Park in the car park behind Caupenne Secondary School.
(S/E) Head south-east along the road until you reach Caupenne Castle.
At the crossroads, follow the signs for Larbey for about twenty metres, then turn right to follow the drainage ditch to the River Louts. Follow it down to the left until you reach the D8 road.
(1) Cross the bridge and follow the D8 for a few metres. Take the dirt track on the left and stay on the farm track. Reach the right bank of the Louts and follow it until you reach the Poulouaout Bridge.
(2) Do not cross the bridge, but continue – after crossing the road – along the right bank of the Louts. Further on, you’ll reach the Route du Moulin at a ruined barn.
(3) Follow the tarmac road to the left as far as the Moulin de Gouaougue.
(4) After the mill, take the first path on the left at an acute angle. Cross the bridge, take the dirt track on the left and follow it straight on to reach the River Louts. Please note: do not follow the river immediately after the bridge
Once you reach the Louts, follow it upstream along its left bank until you reach the Route du Louts.
(5) Follow this road for a few metres, then take the first dirt track on the right, which runs alongside and then through a small copse. On emerging from the copse, take the track at a right angle to the right and head towards the D158 road.
(6) Turn left, then turn left again after the buildings in the hamlet of Premce. You’ll reach the Louts once more. Follow its left bank until you reach the junction by the sewage treatment works.
(7) Turn right onto the farm track on the right and follow it to the junction with the Chemin du Presbytère in Caupenne. Turn left here to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
