Parking: Place de Técouère, near the pelota court. Departure: at the corner of the square near the information point.
Blue markers on signs.
(S/E) From Place Técouère, take Rue de la Técouère towards the sports hall.
(1) Just before the sports hall, turn left onto Avenue d'Aquitaine. Walk up this avenue on the left.
(2) Take the first road on the right, then the next right onto Route de Berdillon. The route climbs towards the hillside, offering breathtaking views of the Luy de Béarn valley.
(3) After passing through the Pirèque neighbourhood, Route de Lahitte crosses an agricultural plateau, which you leave on the right after 300 metres to join a pleasant path that leads into a pretty deciduous forest. Crossing the Bouqué stream marks the start of a forest trail (please be discreet near the pidgeon hunting hut) which, from footbridge to footbridge, leads back out into the open onto the Route de Marlat.
(4) Take the tarmac road on the left, passing close to Maison Bousqué (a former stately home). A hedge of oak trees lines the path to the D13. Follow it on the right, taking care on the 300 metres leading to the water tower.
(5) At the water tower, turn sharply right onto the small road. At the fork at Gastou, turn right. The descent into the valley begins with the Chemin de Gastou. Enjoy the view over the heights of Amou. The route continues on a dirt track that winds down the hillside. Pass under the power line.
(6) At the crossroads, leave Chemin d'Andribon and take Chemin de Larricq on the left. The road runs alongside wet meadows and oak groves, crossing the Hardy stream.
(7) Continue right on Chemin d'Arripot through the meadows to reach the D346. Take this road on the right, cross the stream and leave a road on the right.
(8) At the next intersection by the old oak tree, the route takes Chemin de Ninet on the left. Go around the farm, then continue across the agricultural plain. Join the tarmac road by the leisure centre and stadium.
(1) Continue straight on Avenue de la Digue after the leisure area to return to the starting point (S/E).
