Description of the walk

The starting point is a small car park along the Ruberzot quarry road.

(S/E) Return to the main road and turn left. A few dozen metres further on, you will reach the junction with Chemin de Kermadec.

(1) Turn right towards the houses. Keep to the right and walk along the property. Enter the woods and continue until you reach a T-junction of paths at elevation 176.

(2) Turn left onto a path in the hedge, which may be more or less visible depending on the vegetation. Further on, this track turns into a beautiful forest lane. Continue until you come out onto a tarmac road in Kermouchard.

(3) Cross it, take the road opposite and continue to the intersection at Tal Voaz at elevation 172.

(4) Turn left and descend into the valley. When you see the property, turn left, cross a stream and take the track heading due east. You will then come to a tarmac road.

(5) Follow it on the right-hand side. A little further on, in a sharp bend near the Comore farm, look for a path on the right.

(6) Take this path, walk along the pastures and enter a small wood. Pass the ruins of the Coz Castel houses and you will come to a crossroads.

(7) Take a track on the left and join a road.

(8) Turn right and, at the intersection after the water tower, take a road on the right. Reach the Croix de Kermoda and turn left onto the road, arriving at the junction with the Kerloc road at elevation 222.

(9) Look for the path that starts in the hedge between the two roads. Follow it to join the GR®34A further on.

(10) Follow this path on your right until you reach a white track, then a road. Cross it carefully and take the path on the other side. Continue until you reach a tarmac road and turn left. After about 200 m, you will reach a crossroads in Pen an Coat Bleïz.

(11) Turn right and, when the road turns 90° to the left, follow the grassy path on the right. Go downhill and pass by the oratory. Then cross a road and join the fence marking the boundary of the quarry.

(12) Turn right and follow the fence along its entire length to reach the road. Turn right and return to your parking spot (S/E).
