Paths in good condition, mostly shaded, with unobstructed views of the bocage.
We made a short round trip to admire the Château de Vésigneux up close: we suggest adding it to the information sheet, as it is "worth a detour".

Very beautiful walk, but we had difficulty following the description; first at the start, where a path was blocked by an electric fence, which led us to fumble around quite a bit to find an alternative route.
Then at the end, from Montrecon to St Martin, we couldn't find the landmarks mentioned in the description.

This doesn't detract from the appeal of this walk, but when you don't know the area at all, it's not necessarily easy to find your way around, especially as there's no one around to ask for directions.

An easy, pleasant and peaceful walk. We’ve done it in several different seasons and have never been disappointed. It alternates between open paths and woodland, which is lovely. The Morvan really is a beautiful region. Highly recommended.
