Circular route around Liliental and Lenzenberg in the Kaiserstuhl

A lovely walk with a short section through the forest. Most of the route takes you through terraced vineyards and meadows, with magnificent views of the Kaiserstuhl.

Bonus: two restaurants along the route, one at the start (Zur Lilie) and the other at km 8 (Rathaus Lenzenberg), which is well worth a visit: lovely terrace and views over the plain, the Black Forest and the Vosges.

Short stop at the cemetery overlooking the village

There are some lovely views of the vineyards, and the final stretch, featuring the Liliental Arboretum, is well worth a visit.
The stop at Lenzenberg, with its lovely terrace and panoramic view, is a real treat
But for me there are too many tarmac roads, and the section through Ihringen (apart from the cemetery) is of no interest
