Park in the car park in Bouclans in front of the town hall. No signposts.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, take the first street on the left, passing in front of the castle. You will soon come to a fork in the road; take the right-hand gravel track. You will quickly arrive at the source of the Gour. Cross the pastures and, on the way, turn around for a view of the village rooftops and bell tower.
(1) At a wooden shed, join a small tarmac road at a right-angle bend and continue straight ahead. You are now on mountain bike route 104.
(2) After 0.5 km, the road forks. Take the right-hand lane, which quickly becomes a gravel road. At the next fork, turn left, passing under some high-voltage power lines.
(3) At the entrance to the woods, take a perpendicular path on the left that crosses fields until it joins another path in the woods.
(4) Turn left onto a gravel path which quickly becomes a well-defined dirt track running through pastureland. At a crossroads, continue straight ahead on the same path.
(5) At the first houses in the village of Vauchamps, descend to the right towards the centre. You will reach the D354, which you take to the left, taking care to watch out for cars, fortunately few and far between. This will take you back to Bouclans. You will pass the cemetery and its chapel.
(6) At the Calvary, turn left onto Rue du Château, then immediately right to visit the church and its statues, and head back down to the car park via Rue Saint-Léger (S/E).
