Head towards the medieval village of Oingt (69620). At the entrance to the village, follow signs for Saule d'Oingt on the D120. The car park is located about 100 metres further on, on the right.

(S/E) From the car park, turn right onto Chemin des Écoliers. At the school, turn left onto Montée de la Guillardière. In the left-hand bend, continue straight ahead onto Chemin des Navoureux (signposted as a dead end). Continue in this direction for approximately 1.2 km, following the yellow and red signs.
(1) Turn right onto the large gravel road towards Col du Bansillon. Continue until you reach the relay antenna.
(2) On the right, in a small clearing about 50 m from the trail, is the Saint-Joseph Chapel.
(3) Turn around.
(2) Continue right on the path downhill through the woods until you reach the intersection with Montée Chez le Bois. (view of the Val de Saône).
(4) Turn right and continue on the paved road downhill to the D96. At the intersection, continue right, walking carefully on the grassy strip along the road for about 80 m.
(5) Cross carefully and continue on the grassy path downhill after the vineyard. (Please note that there are no signposts.) At the tarmac road at the cross, turn right, then continue left on the slightly uphill tarmac path. Pass the picnic tables.
(6) Turn right 150 m after the picnic tables, in a hairpin bend, to continue on a stony path that climbs into a wooded area. Pass the Aux Quatre Vents lodge before you reach the Chemin du Cret de Bussy. Continue to the fire hydrant.
(7) Turn left before the fire hydrant onto the path that descends alongside the vineyards. Cross the D607 carefully, pass a wine press and turn right after the house onto Chemin du Mont Vigny, which continues onto Chemin du Colombier to join the D96.
(8) Turn left onto this road, then turn left onto Rue du Puits towards the town hall. Pass the wine press and turn right to stroll through the narrow streets of the village of Oingt and discover its medieval village with its old houses, church and keep, before exiting through the fortified gate to find the car park opposite (S/E).
