To start the walk, head to Mison "Village". From the D1075, between Laragne and Sisteron, at Mison "les Armands", take the D 124 and park in the village of Chapelle Saint-Roch.
(S/E) Opposite Rue du Presbytère, take the small street to the north, which quickly turns into a path (route des Romeyères). At an intersection, continue straight ahead on a wider path (ignore the start on the right).
(1) At the T-junction, turn right. Enjoy a pleasant walk north-northeast on a slight downhill slope, taking in the beautiful views of Ubaye, Écrins and Dévoluy.
(2) At the next intersection, turn left and climb up through the woods. At the top, the path turns west to join the Route Forestière de Bricon.
(3) Take it to the left (south-east then south), following the yellow markings. The track soon overlooks the Buech valley, then the village of Mison and its castle. Arrive at Place des Aires.
(4) Then turn right towards "la Fontaine via le château".
(5) At the crossroads at the foot of the ruins, take the time to climb left up to the castle along the footpath (information boards).
(6) The castle esplanade offers beautiful views from this promontory. Retrace your steps.
(5) Turn left to go around the rocky outcrop to the south. Take Rue du Grand Jeu, then turn right into Rue du Presbytère. At the crossroads, turn right and you will immediately reach the chapel (S/E).
