Park in the car park at the entrance to Lemainville, on Route de Nancy, near the sports ground and the fountain at the bottom of the village.
(S/E) Head towards the roundabout and follow the D6 towards Nancy for a good hundred metres. At the cross, take the small road on the left called: Sous la Côte. Pass by the educational pond and continue along this path towards Voinémont.
(1) At the right-hand bend, note the return path on the left and carry straight on, negotiating another bend. The path climbs towards the woodland.
(2) On the climb, before entering the woodland, be sure to turn around to admire the lovely view of the vast surrounding meadows. Cross the short wooded section and continue along this path. Here too, a beautiful, sweeping view opens up before you.
(3) At the junction before reaching Voinémont, take the white path on the left, which further on makes a sharp left-hand bend.
(4) Turn right onto the grassy path which leads to the first houses of the Voinémont housing estate. This path branches off to the right and becomes tarmac.
(5) Cut sharply left across the playground and take the path on the left – often very muddy in this first section – which runs alongside the Madon.
(6) Turn left onto the path (do not follow the meandering course of the Madon as this section is private). You will come to a path that follows the Madon and turns left through hedgerows.
(7) Follow it to the left. It soon leads to the entrance of a meadow. Enter and cross the vast meadows bordering the Madon. Leave the meadow at the large iron gate, where you will rejoin the path taken on the way out.
(1) Follow it straight on, retracing your steps to return to the starting point (S/E).
