The Anzême Gorges and the Mouline waterfall
A short hike that will allow you to explore the area around Anzême and enjoy a view overlooking the Devil's Bridge. You will then reach the banks of the Creuse and set off to discover the Mouline Waterfall.

A route to admire the Glénic viaduct from above before taking the tracks and sunken paths through woods and meadows.
Tour des Trois Cornes
This hike will take you to the Trois Cornes with its many viewpoints over the surrounding countryside.
The first part takes you around the foot of the Trois Cornes, leading you to the statue of Saint Valéry, then you will discover the various peaks from which you can observe the surrounding countryside before descending to the Étang de la Valette.
Les Pierres Civières
Hike in the Maupuy massif above Guéret. This route will allow you to discover magnificent views and the old granite quarries.
The hike is partly marked with yellow signs managed by the Monts de Guéret Tourist Office.
Walk in the Chabrières Forest
A family-friendly walk with plenty of sections through the woodland. It takes you first to the Chabrières pond and anthill (with information boards), then to the arboretum at the end of the walk.

Le Puy de Gaudy
Between Guéret and Sainte-Feyre, this is a short, easy hike that allows you to discover the oppidum and the beautiful panorama from the summit of Puy de Gaudy.
Circular route starting from the Parc aux Loups in Chabrières
This hike allows you to explore the northern slope of the Chabrières massif with numerous passages through the undergrowth and a passage near the Parc au Loups.
Short circular loop from Savennes via Reillat
A short, easy walk, ideal for families. There are a few roads to take at the start, but the rest of the route is mainly along paths or tracks.
It’s also a chance to discover the little church in Savennes, with its sky-blue ceiling and peaceful atmosphere… if you can find the key to get in… (*)
The painters' path in Fresselines
This hike through the valley of painters allows you to discover a stretch of the Petite Creuse and Creuse rivers, as well as numerous viewpoints that have been a source of inspiration for many painters.
This is a family-friendly hike with numerous benches and tables, as well as information panels along the way explaining the paintings created in this part of the valley.
Grand Loop of the Creuse, Fresselines - Crozant
A fairly demanding long loop that allows you to walk along or above the Creuse and discover its tributary, the Petite Creuse. Monet painted these banks many times, and with good reason! This hike is best done when the trees are still bare. IBP56 rating
Along the Verraux and on the heights of Clugnat
Beautiful hike starting from the municipal lake in Clugnat, along a small country road running alongside the Verraux river and lined with majestic beech trees.
In Poussange (420 m above sea level), there is a lovely viewpoint over the surrounding countryside and Clugnat.
The walk follows a path through fields and woodland.
The return journey crosses a wooden bridge over the river.
Grande Cazine Pond
The Cazine ponds walking guide was produced in partnership with the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels and the local association A4P. It highlights the exceptional heritage around two ponds currently undergoing ecological conversion. The pleasant route alternates between distant views and the immediate surroundings of these wetlands. If possible, bring a smartphone with you to access the information provided along the route.

This beautiful hike allows you to discover Lake Éguzon, the steep slopes of the Creuse Valley covered with moors where heather, gorse and broom bloom, and the steep cliffs of the Fileuse rock with breathtaking views of the confluence of the Creuse and Sédelle rivers and the Crozant fortress.The descent to Crozant follows the Sentier des Arts, a trail dotted with works carved into the local rock by five sculptors. Return via St-Jallet and the surrounding countryside.

An easy route, following tracks, paths and short stretches of road, often shaded, allowing you to discover various hamlets in the Donzeil area.
Circular around the Éguzon dam via the Cassecou footbridge
This walk starts at the Éguzon dam power station and ends at Jarrige and its wash house. You will then discover Châteaubrun and the Fontaine des Seigneurs. Exceptional views await you at the Cassecou viewpoint, followed by the footbridge built for the 2024 Summer Olympics. You will walk along the banks of the Creuse before arriving at the foot of the imposing dam and ending at a viewpoint where you can admire it.

The route winds through the hilly surroundings of this village, discovering ancient castles and mills, amidst pleasant pastures and crossing numerous streams.
