Blue markings on plaques.
Parking and departure from the fronton car park. The circuit begins by crossing the town centre.
(S/E) Before the shop on the left-hand corner, take the path down to the fountain. At this point, the route takes stairs on the left to follow a path through ferns and broom.
(1) At the intersection with a forest track, follow it to the right to the Lesprillès Bridge.
(2) After crossing a small stream, continue to the right towards the pine forest and descend towards the Étang de Moliets lake until you reach the picnic area. The route follows the edge of the lake.
(3) Reach the D117 and cross it carefully to join the small path opposite, which marks the start of a very challenging section. Very quickly, this path veers to the left and climbs.
(4) When you reach the water tower, take the sandy forest track on the right for a few metres, then turn left (with your back to the underground reservoir). The route enters a pine forest with very rugged terrain, which, after about 1.5 km, will reward your efforts with a panoramic view of the maritime pine forest.
(5) The circuit descends to a large picnic area near the beaches, opposite a campsite.
(6) Take the path on the right towards the mouth of the Courant d'Huchet to observe the natural flora and fauna that thrive in aquatic environments.
(7) Take the same route back to the crossroads.
(6) Continue straight on to the Houron crossroads.
(8) Turn right onto the cycle path (please leave the fast lane to cyclists) and walk alongside the beach shops.
(9) At the built-up area of Moliets Beach, continue to the end of the car parks, then take the tarmac road that runs behind the Saint Martin campsite. Next, join a tarmac track that crosses the picnic area and follows the golf course access roads.
(10) Continue parallel to the dunes until you reach a crossroads with large skips (used for beach cleaning).
(11) Turn left, then left again onto a straight track. The circuit continues under a canopy of cork oaks and passes through the pine forest to reach the banks of the Étang de la Prade.
(12) At the end of this long straight stretch, continue left towards the north of the lake, cross the stream and continue along the right bank until you reach the Craquillots road, which you will need to cross carefully to reach the Lesprillès Bridge.
(2) The circuit returns to the car park by following the route in reverse (S/E).
