Start from the car park between the school and the Neufchâtel-en-Bray boiler house, Route de Fourcarmont.
(S/E) With your back to the school, turn left and cross the car park. At the top of the car park, take the path opposite.
Continue along this path uphill through the woodland until you reach the crossroads at the pylon.
(1) Turn left onto the tarmac path called Mont Bihorel. Continue along this path until you reach the junction with the D56 at the water tower.
(2) Go round the water tower and take the D56 on your right. Continue along this road through the fields for about 800m until you reach the junction with Rue du Four à Chaux.
(3) Take Rue du Four à Chaux on your left. Continue straight on along this small, tree-lined road which, after Val Renard, descends towards the hamlet of La Goulée (Lucy).
(4) When you reach La Goulée at the wayside shrine hidden by vegetation, turn right onto the cul-de-sac of Rue de la Goulée, which, after the last house, turns into a forest track.
Continue along this path, which climbs along the edge of the Ménonval Forest, until you reach the T-junction with Rue des Étaux.
(5) Take this street on your right and continue to the junction with the D56.
At the junction, turn left onto this road and continue to a crossroads at Brindollet.
(6) Turn right onto the narrow little road called Saint-Antoine and continue to the junction with the D928.
(7) Cross the D928 with care and take the path opposite which descends into the valley and offers a magnificent view of Neufchâtel-en-Bray and the ‘boutonnière’ of the Pays de Bray.
Follow the path down to the junction with Rue de la Vieille Côte.
(8) Turn right onto this street and enter Neufchâtel-en-Bray. Continue straight on down this street until you reach the bottom.
(9) At the bottom of Rue de la Vieille Côte, at the fork, continue along Rue du Val Boury on your right until you reach the junction with Route de Foucarmont and Grande Rue Saint-Jacques.
(10) Cross the junction and take Route de Foucarmont on your right. Continue on the left-hand pavement, following the wall of Neufchâtel-en-Bray cemetery and then the sports ground until you reach the junction with Boulevard Gustave Eiffel.
Cross Boulevard Gustave Eiffel and continue straight ahead to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
