Grand Piton du Salève - Grotte du Diable
During this hike, you can admire the views of Lake Geneva and the Jura from La Thuile, then from the Grand Piton. You’ll take a short detour to the Grotte du Diable. For three-quarters of the hike, you’ll be sheltered from the sun.
The Pointe de Balafrasse
Starting from the Col de la Colombière, the Pointe de Balafrasse is a hike that passes by Lac de Peyre. Panoramic view of the Aravis mountain range and the Mont Blanc massif if the clouds are not too thick. No technical difficulties except perhaps for those who are afraid of heights after the Col de Balafrasse between (3) and .
Crêt du Chable via Pierre Vieille from Étrembières
Passage through the “Pierre Vieille”, which are large erratic granite boulders deposited by glaciers millions of years ago from the Mont Blanc massif. I will then take you to the Crêt du Chable for a view of the Arve Valley and Mont Blanc.
This route is not recommended for those prone to vertigo or in adverse weather conditions.
The Customs Officers’ Path between Messery and Nernier
A very easy, short walk taking about an hour there and back. Views all along the route of Lake Léman and some beautiful private estates.

The lakes of Nyon Guérin and Joux Plane via the Pointe d'Angolon
A short circular hike, allowing you to admire the 360° panorama from Pointe d'Angolon and then enjoy the calm and beauty of the lakes of Nyon Guérin and Joux Plane.
Please note that the ridge walk may not be suitable for those who are prone to vertigo.
Pointe de Sur Cou and Chalet de Balme
A pleasant circular route with a beautiful panoramic view from the summit over the Arve Valley as well as the Aravis range, Bargy, Sous Dine, etc. Mont Blanc is visible. Refreshments available on the descent as the route passes by the Chalet de Balme.A very popular hike, partly due to the Chalet de Balme.
Col de la Portette and Passage du Dérochoir via the Chalets de Sales
A very beautiful, long hike from which you can admire various magnificent waterfalls, the Plaine du Grand Pré, the Fiz, the Lacs de Laouchets, the Désert de Platé, and the Mont Blanc range from the Dérochoir.
A long hike with no technical difficulties or exposed sections.
Pointe Percée via the usual route
Hike to the summit of the Aravis range. This popular summit, situated on the GRP® Massif de Tournette-Aravis, offers a magnificent 360° panorama of all the surrounding mountain ranges and peaks.
Although it does not require mountaineering equipment, the hike is rated TD as it requires a good sense of direction and features generally steep slopes, exposed sections, scree crossings and numerous sections where you need to use your hands.
Aiguille Verte via Lac de Lessy from Cenise
A beautiful hike in Les Bornes, where you can admire the 360° panorama. Lake Lessy, Jura, Lake Geneva, Chablais, Giffre, Mont Blanc, Aravis mountain range, Bauges, etc. Possible difficulty for people prone to vertigo between (6) and (8) and access to Pointe de Domingit.
Sous Dîne, Col du Câble and Chalet de Balme circular loop
A very beautiful hike with a 360° view from the summit; a fairly long circular route that is technically very challenging. The route alternates between woodland and the sharp limestone pavement, followed by a fairly technical descent to the Col du Câble, featuring a very difficult section. This is followed by a fairly easy descent to the Chalet de Balme, then along a track suitable for vehicles, and through woodland.
Please note: an exposed section at the Col du Câble is reserved for experienced walkers who do not suffer from vertigo.
