In Yenne, park near the cemetery.
(S/E) Take the road that runs alongside the cemetery on your left. Go through a hairpin bend and, at the second hairpin bend, take the path on the right: there is also parking available here. The Notre-Dame de la Montagne chapel at the edge of the path is quickly reached
(1). Continue on and you will soon come to another point of interest, slightly off the path: a viewpoint over the Rhône and the tomb of Pierre Boisson.
(2) Return to the path and set off on a longer route to another viewpoint with a view of the Chartreuse de Pierre Châtel in the Ain.
Back on the path, continue towards the Croix de Chevru. Along the way, there are a few unmarked viewpoints.
(:3) Shortly after the Croix de Chevr, leave theGR® and turn left: the path descends to the hamlet of Chevru and ends at the road.
(4) Cross the hamlet (note the cross) and continue along the road towards Curtelod, keeping to the right at the hairpin bend that leads to a French Naturist Federation centre.
(5) As you cross Curtelod, note another large cross. Shortly afterwards, before leaving the hamlet, leave the road that leads directly back to Yenne.
Turn right; this is the only place where you need to pay attention to your direction.
The path first descends and then climbs back up near an isolated house.
(6) Take the grassy path that descends to Yenne (S/E).
