Description of the route

Park in the car park along the greenway, opposite the Relais éco-vélo, Rue Jean Jaurès, in Ferrière-La-Grande.

(S/E) When you leave the car park, head straight ahead towards Rue de l'Industrie. Follow the bend to the left and cross the bridge over the Solre. Immediately afterwards, follow the path on the left along the river. At the end, ignore the path on the left and continue straight ahead (Rue de la Cure) until you reach the crossroads near the church.

(1) Turn right onto the D27, Rue du Général de Gaulle, and continue to a multi-way junction.

(2) Continue left onto Rue Léonce Delens, follow this street straight ahead, leave the town and continue on the greenway. You will reach a hamlet with a fork in the road.

(3) Immediately turn left onto the path towards Champ de l'Alouette. At the end, turn left (Chemin de Saint-Lazare), pass the cemetery on your right and reach the crossroads at the end of the street (you are on theGR®® 655 -GRP®® Tour de l'Avesnois).

(4) Cross the D295 (Rue René Vicaine) and continue straight ahead on theGR®®. Continue straight ahead until you reach the crossroads near the gas installation.

(5) Turn left (Rue du Fort), enter Ferrière-La-Grande and take thefirst road on the right at the building with the town's coat of arms. Follow this road (Chemin Stratégique) and take thefirst street on the left. Chemin des Quatre Vaches.

(6) Turn left (Chemin des Quatre Vaches) and continue straight ahead until you reach the town's main road at No. 21.

(7) Continue straight ahead (D95, Rue Casimir Fournier) until you reach the intersection by the church.

(1) Continue straight ahead (Rue de la Cure) and follow the same route as on the way there, crossing the park, going past the football stadium and returning to the eco-bike relay (S/E).
