Departure from the Valloire Tourist Office, right next to the church. There are a few parking spaces nearby. Depending on the season, it is better to park in one of the car parks located at the entrances to the resort.
(S/E) With your back to the church door, take Rue des Grandes Alpes. When you reach the roundabout, continue straight ahead, pass the Grotte de la Vierge and cross the bridge over the Valloirette.
(1) Pass the Saint-Bernard chapel and follow the first road on your right. Continue straight ahead and take the first path on your left.
Cross the Pont du Diable, the Himalayan footbridge over the Ruisseau de Pémian. On the other side of the bridge, turn left. A few metres further on, at Les Serroz, take the path that climbs to the right and zigzag your way up to the 'l'Entraz' sign. You will discover a magnificent view of Valloire before catching sight of the Grand Galibier.
(2) Continue straight on towards Pré Vessin, then continue towards Rieu Benoit.
(3) Cross the footbridge towards Les Choseaux Verneys. At the sign for 'Les Choseaux', turn right then left to reach Rue du Pré Malin and follow it to the left to reach La Valloirette.
(4) Cross the stream and immediately turn left onto the path that runs alongside it.
(5) At the sign for 'Sur le Four', turn right towards Les Selettes. Once you reach the hamlet, continue straight on towards the Chapelle Saint-Pierre.
(6) At the 'Sur Saint Pierre' sign, turn left then take the second path on the right which climbs up to the chapel. Then go down the path on the right towards Le Praz.
(7) When you reach Le Praz, turn right to return to Valloire. Join Avenue de la Vallée d'Or and continue for about 50 metres on the right. Cross the avenue at the pedestrian crossing to take Rue de la Traverse, which will take you back to the church and the Valloire Tourist Office (S/E).
