Description of the walk

Start:From Lajares, park in the small roadside car park on Calle Majanicho, heading North.

(S/E) From the car park, take the path to the right, heading North-East, and continue uphill until you reach a fork in the road.

(1) You can stay on the main path, or branch off to the left as shown on the map to follow a variant that offers a better view of the volcano. Rejoin the main path.

(2) Continue to the left on this ascending path, which will take you to the highest point of the volcano, with a very safe spot for those coming with children.

(3) Turn left to reach the rim of the ancient crater.

(4) Start touring the volcano in either direction: on the trail, anticlockwise. The trail presents no particular difficulties, but be careful to stay on the path and not to approach the volcano's rim.
