Park in the car park alongside the D712.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards the entrance on your right (with the pond in front of you). A tourist information board will explain the pond’s ecosystem. You’ll reach the pond’s spillway dam.
(1) Carry on along the edge of the pond on the path, which turns into a footbridge. The path moves away from the pond, runs alongside meadows and continues alongside the road. You’ll reach a footbridge over the Yar, which feeds into this pond.
(2) Carry on along the path, where several footbridges allow you to cross sections that are submerged in winter. You’ll reach a junction with a path leading to another car park.
(3) Turn slightly left and pass an observation hut. Take a look, then return to the path which leads away from the edge of the pond and reach a junction.
(4) Keep turning left towards the road to reach the car park (S/E).
