Description of the walk

Parking is available along the road at the intersection of Rue de Pinsogne, Rue de la Gare d'Anloy and Rue de la Rochette, not far from Château de la Rochette. There is a lawn in front of this car park.

Green rectangle markings 1

(S/E) Head south on Rue de la Rochette and enter the village of Anloy. Pass in front of Château de la Rochette. Go up the street and ignore the first path on your left; you will return this way. Continue to the road on your left.

(1) Turn left and walk along the farm track for 600 metres until you reach the path on your left.

(2) Turn left and walk down the path to the legendary site of Rocher du Cuy.

(3) Walk back and forth to the right to the legendary site of Rocher du Cuy.

(3) Continue to the right. Follow the path, which becomes a forest track, to the road. Walk down the road, passing Château de la Rochette again. Leave Anloy and, at the car park where you parked, take the path on the left at Château de la Rochette.

(4) Turn left and enter the forest. Ignore the path on your left. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead. At the road, continue straight ahead for about 100 metres.

No signposts

(5) Take the forest path perpendicular to your right, not the hairpin bend with a tree marked 4FF at the entrance. The forest path winds slightly. Follow the blue dots or arrows if necessary. Keep to the left until you reach a wide forest path and an information sign.

(6) Turn right and follow the path, which becomes a trail, until you reach a fork.

(7) Keep left. Descend the path that turns left. You will come to another path, which you follow to the left until you reach a T-junction.

(8) Turn right and descend the forest track for about 300 metres until you reach the road. Follow it to the right and you will return to the car park (S/E).
