(S/E) From the pass, cross the road. Head towards the Sentier des Roches trail to the left of the Auberge du Chalet.
(1) At the bottom of the Sentier des Roches, after Krappenfels (elevation 1020), turn right, still following the blue rectangle, towards the Auberge de Frankenthal.
Markings: Yellow disc
(2) When you reach the sign for the Auberge du Frankenthal, follow the yellow disc markings and turn right onto the steep path (250 m elevation gain in 1 km) leading to the Col de Falimont.
Markings: Red rectangle with white stripe
(3): At the pass, turn left onto the Sentier des Couloirs until you reach the Schaeferthals junction (altitude 1224 m).
You can take a break at the Schaeferthal inn (closed).
Markings: Red triangle
(4) Turn left towards Schallern.
Markings: Blue triangle
(5) After passing under thefirst chairlift, turn right and continue to the car park at the Auberge du Schiessroth (elevation 1141).
Markings: Red rectangle ofthe GR®5Vosges
(6) Turn right onto theGR®5towards Hohneck until you reach elevation 1224, at the Scheferthal crossroads, which you already passed on the way there.
(4) Keep left on theGR®5to the summit of Hohneck (altitude 1363).
(7) Descend to the Col de Falimont.
(8) Continue along theGR® and join a road.
(9) Continue on theGR®5to the Auberge des Trois Fours, before descending to the Col de la Schlucht along the summer toboggan runs. Return to the Col de la Schlucht car park (S/E).
