Start in the centre of the village of Sart-Custinne, at the junction of Rue de Rienne and Rue de Gedinne.
(1) Take Rue Saint-Roch, pass the Chapelle Saint-Roch and turn left at the Y-junction after the cemetery.
(2) Take the path on the left at the edge of the forest.
(3) After 800 metres, take the path that branches off to the left and turn left. At the next T-junction, turn left.
(4) Near the road, turn right onto the path that joins the road. Take the road on the left. Follow it up to the crossroads.
(5) Take the path on the right and, after 20 m, take the path that branches off to the left.
(6) Continue along the first path on the left.
(7) At the T-junction, turn right and continue.
(8) Turn onto the third path on the right and, at the road, follow it to the left.
(9) Take a path that descends steeply to the right. Ignore the path that branches off to the left and continue straight ahead. The path becomes a trail and runs alongside a pine forest.
(10) At the end of this path, climb the embankment on the right, pick up a path to the right and at the next intersection, turn right to go up the slope. You will come to a wider path, follow it for about 200 metres.
(11) Turn left into Franc Bois and continue.
(12) Take the second path on the left and then the first on the right.
(13) Turn left after about 400 metres, then left again and right.
(14) At the next T-junction, turn right. The path becomes a paved road. Take the first path on the left. It leads to the Galette site (old mill, lodge).
(15) Turn right after the bridge over La Houille and immediately take the path to the right of the road. A long but beautiful path, sometimes a trail, sometimes a road, leads to Gedinne through the Houille valley.
(16) In Gedinne, cross the bridge over La Houille, turn right onto the road towards Rienne, then take the first right onto Rue Pommiers-Mathys. Keep left as you climb. Ignore the road branching off to the right and continue straight ahead down through the meadows. The path turns into a track and joins the road leading from Gedinne to Sart-Custinne. Follow it for about 500 m.
(17) Take the path that climbs into the small wood on the left. At the T-junction, turn right onto Rue de l'Asie - Devant la Vie.
(18) Turn right onto this road to return to the starting point (S/E).
