The Buzet Forest is very pleasant and reserved for walking, horse riding and mountain biking. Very busy at weekends, it is protected from hunters and offers numerous well-marked trails where it is difficult to get lost. We followed the footpath on the way there and the bridle paths on the way back. The biodiversity centre offers a fun stop for young and old alike.

This is a varied route where country lanes will take you to the heart of the Buzet forest, which you will have plenty of time to explore. Starting from Lugan, a circular route through the hills of the Tarn region along small tarmac roads and wide paths.

A hilly hike that will take you to Bonrepos Riquet Castle and the old town of Verfeil. Admittedly, there may be a little too much tarmac (50%) for some people's liking, but it is on small, quiet roads.

This walk offers beautiful 360° views from the Chemin de Ronde de Montjoire. Explore this town, a stronghold of the Cathar resistance, as you walk through fields and along ridge paths.

No major difficulties The route crosses several other routes marked in yellow, so the different markings along the route should only be taken as a relative guide. With the attached map, it is very easy to follow the route.
