A very pleasant walk from Trappes station.
After a quick stroll around town, you enter the Saint Quentin leisure park.
The loop is about ten kilometres long and takes you through the forest, surrounded by birds and various animals such as rabbits and a badger. Don’t forget to bring a pair of binoculars to spot all the birds on the water. There are an impressive number of them. You’ll see swans, barnacle geese, greylag geese, moorhens, coots, ducks and many more.
There are tables and benches for lunch, but these are only available in the second half of the route around the lake.
For the return journey, I wouldn’t recommend the scheduled route, but rather retracing your steps along the outward path.
There’s nothing of interest through the housing estates.

It's a shame that between 9 and 11 there is no access to the pond, but in 10 there is a path on the right (however, there are lots of rabbits!).
From the sailing school onwards, the route is nicer. On the way there and back, you can discover two very different neighbourhoods of Trappes.
