Parking is available at the Col de Santa Lucia, in the car park next to the chapel.
(S/E) Cross the D180 with care and take the path just at the foot of the information sign. Continue uphill for about 40 metres, keeping to the right. Very quickly, switch to the eastern side of the headland. The path is quite narrow but not difficult (clearly marked through the scrub, no scree) and often shaded; gaps in the vegetation offer stunning views over the valley down to the sea, with the Island of Elba and Italy in the background.
(1) There is just one slightly tricky spot with a stretch devoid of vegetation (may cause vertigo), followed by a very steep slope of a few metres over rocks that are quite slippery in wet weather. Continue climbing.
(2) At this point, keep to the left to take the path which continues to climb to the right, then follow the ridge: the path branching off to the right runs just below the ridge on the eastern side. The path then climbs at a very steady pace along the ridge, becoming rockier whilst remaining easily passable. Carry on to the point known as “Punta di a Filetta Suprana”, enjoying the views through the gaps in the vegetation to the east and west of Cap Corse.
(3) Turn back and return along the same route to the Col de Santa Lucia (S/E). You will then have the Tower of Seneca directly in front of you.
